ABOUT: Kate Hoggis a full time visual artist living and working in Toronto, Canada. Hogg received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University in Drawing and Painting, with a Minor in Material Art and Design. Hogg completed a one-year residency at OCADU's off campus studio in Florence, Italy, under the direction of the late Peter Porcal, Jean-Christian Knaff and Maria Gabankova. Hogg was selected as one of fourteen Untapped Emerging Artists at the 2013 Artist Project, listed as one of Ten Canadian Artists You Should Knowby Flare Magazine, and has received awards and recognition from her large-scale screen printed works.Hogg has recently begun working within the public arts producing a number of site specific installations aimed at community involvement and play.
Hogg&Borg, founded by Kate Hogg and Gabriella Borg in 2014, produces large scale, site specific sculptures and installations.
