About the artist:
KATE HOGG is a Canadian mixed-media artist currently working out of Toronto, Ontario. Hogg obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts from OCAD University in Drawing and Painting with a Minor in Material Arts. During her thesis year, Hogg studied in Florence Italy under the direction of the late art historian Peter Porcal, illustrator Jean-Christian Knaff and painter Maria Gabankova. Hogg's interests in the material arts have led to further studies in printmaking and paper works. Hogg continues to produce work from a wide range of materials, with a more recent inclusion of site specific public art/installation and illustration.

HOGG&BORG was founded by Kate Hogg and Gabriella Borg in 2014. HOGG&BORG produce large scale site-specific sculptures, installations and events within public spaces and aimed at all ages. The duo explores the manipulation and recreation of space utilizing non-traditional materials. Their mandate is to create accessible and interactive public art, creating community dialogues, engagement and fun.
