ABOUT: Children learn about colour mixing, light and shadow properties through hands on exploration with materials of various transparencies and colour and select works from the museum collection. Each student built their own hand-held walking "scope" with multiple interchangeable lenses to redefine their surroundings, changing what and how they see. The lenses were brought into the museum collection and around the museum grounds for further on-site discussions and visual explorations.
